The Lime Haus
Orston
the limehaus is a rural delicatessen situated in the village of Orston. Selling a vast selection of continental meats, cheeses, olives, oils, and other specialty foods, as well as everyday basics such as locally baked bread, fresh milk, free range eggs and home baked cakes and pastries. The recent addition of an organic fruit and vegetable department has proved very popular. With so few village shops these days, the lime haus successfully combines tradition with the exotic. It’s knowledgeable and helpful staff are always on hand to advise on anything from product ingredients to recipes! Suggestions and requests are welcomed…if it can be got, they’ll get it!

When I visited the shop I felt I stepped back in time to my
childhood
Its packed full of up cycled pieces of art works and crafts.
The owners are Rachel and Jim Grevatte
They sell local artists and crafters work
Its a collection of beautiful objects that have been given a new lease of life in an artistic way
