Kyle won at Film Nation 2012 awards in London

Liar
Won at the Film Nation short 2012 London

Nervous

Kyle entered his film Liar into the shorts competition in July he was short listed then nominated and invited to the film awards in London

It really  shows any thing is possible as this film was made with a zero budget on a Panasonic camcorder he won for making a short film in the local Grantham journal news paper. He downloaded a 30 free trial software program taught himself how to edit it on it and used his lap top in his bed room. He was competing against professional film companies. All the actors in the film were family members who have never acted before. Lenny was played by his granddad, who in real life at the time had just came out of hospital after spending weeks in going through stem cell treatment  and chemotherapy for myeloma  cancer. Kyle loved the BBC1 series The Street by Jimmy Mcgovern and wanted to make his own version in that style of filming and make it a family memento. This award will give Kyle great confidence to hopefully go on and achieve his goals. We had a fantastic day at the awards and looking forward to seeing the film across some of the venues.
