The Flower Stall

Last week a friend and I were out having coffee and we stumbled across this lovely little shop.

You walk in a the floral scent is exquisite.
It has a warm ambience that is very welcoming.

We were welcomed by a friendly assistant who was knowledgeable and happy to spend time answering any questions we had. The flower stall has so much to offer. They stock a vast range of cut fresh flowers, the lilac old fashioned roses were beautiful and very reasonably priced  per stem, a single rose in a bud vase would look stunning. They also had peonies, lilies and much more.

They stock a large range of gifts that are very affordable, we thought a lot cheaper than similar shops and some are just that little bit different. We left with a couple of paper bags full of hand wrapped gifts.

Scented candles

Potted plants

Gifts

Flower arrangements

Its a real must place to visit for a special friends gift or to simply spoil your self. A little gem of a shop.

Michael Miller
Redesigned lamp shade

Today I had a break from hair styling for a ball, work and my soap room. We are going to decorate our bedroom into a beautiful boudoir. I love calligraphy so searched the net and found some lovely Michael Miller vintage French writing on Etsy. I bought the fabric to line some drawers but when it arrived today it was to nice to hide away never to be seen so it decided to revamp my lamp.

The fabric came from a shop on Etsy called robinsnest60.
The shop is owned by a lovely lady called Robin who sells exquisite fabrics & trims.

Simple white shade

Stretched the fabric round and secured in place. The fabric came tied with a woven cotton tape measure ribbon which I used to trim the insides with.

I added some crystal beads I have had so long I had forgot I had them , one of those impulse buys that you know you will use them one day.

The finished results.
It can become very addictive.........

A perfect resting place for the two boys in my life photo.
My son and my very own version of Mr Grey (and his 50 shades of grey hair).

Visit Robin shop at Etsy

Till the next time Love

LIAR
Please Vote

I no Kyle won with this film last year, but it is the time to refresh votes ready for the Olympics.

A 3 minuet short film.
The film was made on a £200 Panasonic camera Kyle won in a film making competition in the Grantham Journal. The film was shoot in an afternoon and edited on trail software the following day. The actors were all family members, Lenny played by granddad Cook who was in real life going through chemotherapy for Myeloma. Auntie Michelle played the nurse and cousin Jake played the young boy. They all did  a fantastic job and millions of people will see this film around the Olympic arena live events and big screens around the UK and it has already featured in news of the Olympics around the world. Its really been the chance of a life time for them all.
 Thank you for your support.
